We add staff either to maintain pace with our workload or to replace those who have gone on to other things. Since the average length of employment with LRE is more than nine years, staff turnover is only a small part of our need to recruit new employees. Because our style is to promote a steady but reasonable pace of growth, we rarely have staff openings. When openings do occur, we prefer to recruit and hire people that we already know.
Generally, we require candidates for employment to have five to ten years of water-related experience as either an engineer or geologist and have a balanced blend of technical, management, computer, interpersonal, and general consulting problem solving skills. If you feel that your education, work experience and skills sets meet our requirements, we encourage you to send us a letter expressing your interest along with a resume.
